This document discusses community college student leadership programs and proposes research questions about them. It notes that these programs are less numerous and developed than those at four-year colleges. The document presents a grounded theory model of high-quality leadership programs with three clusters: building a learning community, experiential learning experiences, and continuous program development. Attributes of existing programs are listed, such as student ambassadors and leadership retreats. The goal is to investigate these programs and determine best practices to prepare community college students for leadership.
