This thread explores what spiritual growth means (need compelling definitions from those quality sources) and how are discussions fit. The images of rooms in a house or possible paths to take or a journey and our work in this thread deepens the central point of a religious quest as growing spiritually.
In week five the concept of biblical literalism is examined in regards to an informed, living Word of God foundation, which is not easy, nor short term, nor isolated is the mature, experienced, and prayerful interpretation of Sacred Scriptures. But this is one of several points that we should note and then study in reference to a mature faith and biblical studies. (This is a good point to include in the Week 3 Written Assignment!) (Biology is another point to relate to our work!) Just as we were born small, defenseless, incapable of speech and had the capacity for understanding but knew nothing, human development (each of us) needed to physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually needed to grow, deepen, and progress through stages that take time. See Kohlberg’s Model of Moral Development that might provide some insights in graphical form.

This is a formal paper which is different from the Week 1 informal, reflection paper. Citations linked to sources are required in each of the following topics.
Organize the paper with a header or section title and (you can use single-spacing rather than double-spacing if you’d like) with any references to the text and other sources identified as footnotes or as endnotes or in a proper documentation style at the end of this short paper.

In this interview you work to understand another human
being by developing a receptive and welcoming attitude toward your interviewee. You
will review the principles of CMM as you understand them, keeping in mind that this
interview is designed to help you create a positive social world with another person who is
different from you. Two things to keep in mind from CMM are to listen in a way that makes
others want to speak to you, and to speak in a way that makes others want to listen to
you.
You will also make use of Politeness Theory as you speak and listen in such a way as to
maintain the “face” of another human being, that is, the self-respect that person has for
him or herself and treating that person with dignity. Recognize that we all want to be
liked, admired, appreciated and approved. Respond to the other with empathy and
compassion.
Work toward having that “authentic dialog” mentioned by Paolo Freire. This means
regarding the other person as a genuine subject. Finally, you will complete the “praxis” as
Freire defines it, by not only acting through the interview, but by reflecting upon it at the
conclusion.

“Why is creating one universal definition of the notion of religion so difficult? Notice that I highlighted the verb “is” to show its location at the beginning of the sentence.
If you have issues with writing in English, I would highly recommend visiting the Writing Center. There you will find a wonderful group of individuals who are very good at helping students do well with their writing assignments so that they can earn the high grades that they may deserve.
Religion is the most difficult word to define it meaning primarily to various individuals from diverse communities. Every community views the word religion in a clear manner, making it believe the real meaning of the word. The term is usually utilized globally by various individuals asserting own meaning according to their belief. It is an argument that the religion power has to bind a person to a community, course of action in their daily life, culture ideology among other activities that the community undertakes believing that they are religious. Besides this argument, there are different individuals with their arguments that try to elaborate religion, making it difficult to understand the real meaning of the word. Religion is a word with no data or environment that tries to prove its purpose, making it is considered as the creation of many scholar’s study search as Rudolf Otto, James Martineau, Antony Wallace, and James Frazer among others. In week five the concept of biblical literalism is examined in regards to an informed, living Word of God foundation, which is not easy, nor short term, nor isolated is the mature, experienced, and prayerful interpretation of Sacred Scriptures. But this is one of several points that we should note and then study in reference to a mature faith and biblical studies. (This is a good point to include in the Week 3 Written Assignment!) (Biology is another point to relate to our work!) Just as we were born small, defenseless, incapable of speech and had the capacity for understanding but knew nothing, human development (each of us) needed to physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually needed to grow, deepen, and progress through stages that take time. See Kohlberg’s Model of Moral Development that might provide some insights in graphical form.

In this interview you work to understand another human
being by developing a receptive and welcoming attitude toward your interviewee. You
will review the principles of CMM as you understand them, keeping in mind that this
interview is designed to help you create a positive social world with another person who is
different from you. Two things to keep in mind from CMM are to listen in a way that makes
others want to speak to you, and to speak in a way that makes others want to listen to
you.
You will also make use of Politeness Theory as you speak and listen in such a way as to
maintain the “face” of another human being, that is, the self-respect that person has for
him or herself and treating that person with dignity. Recognize that we all want to be
liked, admired, appreciated and approved. Respond to the other with empathy and
compassion.
Work toward having that “authentic dialog” mentioned by Paolo Freire. This means
regarding the other person as a genuine subject. Finally, you will complete the “praxis” as
Freire defines it, by not only acting through the interview, but by reflecting upon it at the
conclusion.

Religion is the most difficult word to define it meaning primarily to various individuals from diverse communities. Every community views the word religion in a clear manner, making it believe the real meaning of the word. The term is usually utilized globally by various individuals asserting own meaning according to their belief. This will be called “Turning Point”. Work on that sentence until you can phrase it in the most memorable way possible. Example: Passage: 1 Kings 4:29, 11:9 Summarized truth: “Being wise is not about having wisdom but about doing wisdom.”
- 16. Step 2: Determine why people need to know this Turning Point. Imagine what would happen if people do not know this Turning Point. Think of specific instances or occasions where this Turning Point would be so important or applicable. Figure out why people don’t know this Turning Point or why people choose to disobey it. Write down your thoughts.
- 17. Step 2: Determine why people need to know this Turning Point. Example: Truth: “Being wise is not about having wisdom but about doing wisdom.” Why people need to know this truth: People think that being wise is all about having wisdom or knowledge. But having wisdom or knowledge per se does not guarantee that our lives would be okay.
- 18. Step 3: List specific actions that people can do to apply it. Ask yourself, “How would people apply this Turning Point in real life?” Think of specific situations and show how this Turning Point can be applied. Write down your thoughts. - 20. Step 5: Put your thoughts in proper order and share them. Why people need to know this Turning Point:People think that being wise is all about having wisdom or knowledge.
