Communication is a complex, unavoidable, continuous, and learned process. It involves a context, physical environment and climate, communicator, message, channel, potential noise or barriers, and feedback. The key components of the communication process are the message sender, the message itself, the channel or means of transmission, and the message receiver. Barriers can block communication, while feedback provides assurance, allows for adjustment, and gives insight.
