Wiktoria tells the story of how communication has changed between her Granny's generation and her own. When Granny was young, few people had telephones and the most common way to communicate was through handwritten letters. Now, nearly everyone has a mobile phone and communicates primarily through emails, text messages, and apps like Skype instead of traditional letters. Communication is now much easier and more accessible compared to the past.

2. Hello , I’m Wiktoria.
I will tell you how my
Granny communicated
in the past and what I
use to communicate now.

3. MEET MY GRANNY 
This is a picture of my Granny
when she was a young
woman. Her name was
Jadwiga.

4. TELEPHONES IN THE PAST
When my Granny was a
child, people in Poland used
to use telephones like these.
The telephones were not
very common. Only few
people had them at home.

5. TELEPHONE IN THE PRESENT
Now people use mobile
phones. Almost everyone
has their own phone.
I use a telephone like this
one.

6. MY GRANNY WROTE LETTERS
 In the past my Granny
used to send and
receive a lot of
letters. They were
written with a pen or
ballpen.

7. TRADITIONAL LETTERS
People often used ornamented paper
and envelopes called stationery.
Postcards were also very popular.

8. NOW I SEND E-MAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES

9. WE CAN ALSO USE SKYPE AND OTHER
MESSANGERS TO COMMUNICATE WITH OUR
RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
