3. The most common eye disorder that happens because of ageing is AMD or age-related macular
degeneration. This one leads to the damage in the sharp and the central vision.
For doing the common daily tasks like reading or driving, the central vision needs to be correct.
And AMD defects the macula of the eyes which is the central part of the retina that is known to see the fine details.

4. As the name says, this is an eye disease that is caused to the people who suffer from diabetes.
No control of sugar in the blood can lead to severe damage in the eyes because of diabetic retinopathy.
The blood vessels of the retina of the eyes are damaged because of this disease. This eye disorder progresses in 4 stages.
Those stages are mild nonproliferative retinopathy (microaneurysms), moderate nonproliferative retinopathy
(blockage in some retinal vessels), severe nonproliferative retinopathy
(more vessels are blocked leading to the deprived retina from blood supply leading to grow new blood vessels),
and proliferative retinopathy (most advanced stage). It attacks both the eyes.

5. Refractive Errors
Refractive errors include different things like myopia that affects the nearsightedness, hyperopia that affects the
farsightedness, presbyopia that is the loss of focus when it comes to reading and it occurs in the age of 40 to 50,
and also astigmatism that is a basically distorted vision of all distances. These refractive errors do not necessarily
happen at an older age only. Some issues can also happen at the younger ages too.
Most of the refractive errors like presbyopia can be sorted with the use of contact lenses or glasses.
6. Cataract
One of the very common eye disorders is a cataract. This disease is one of the major causes of blindness worldwide and
in this disorder, the lens of the eyes are clouded. This is a disorder that can affect anyone at any age
and can also be present by birth. But, the best part is that cataract can be easily removed from the eyes
from the cataract surgery. This is one of the easiest and the most successful surgeries out
there whose treatment is available in most parts of the world.
7. Glaucoma can directly affect the optic nerve of the eyes and can totally damage it resulting in blindness.
When the normal fluid pressure inside the eyes rises slowly, it is the time when glaucoma has occurred.
Open-angle glaucoma and closed-angle glaucoma are the two major categories of glaucoma.
