Frequent headaches, bright flashes or floaters in vision, eye infections, or issues with squinting are signs that it may be time to get an eye exam. Headaches can sometimes be caused by underlying eye problems and eye problems may cause headaches. Floaters that increase drastically or persistent eye infections, redness, irritation, or blurred vision should be evaluated by an eye doctor as these issues could lead to more serious problems if left untreated. Squinting issues make depth perception difficult and can cause problems like driving; an exam can determine if corrective glasses are needed.
