Commercialization of
Health Care: Good or Bad?

      Varun Chandok
Commercialization
Commercialization of Health
Care:

Commercialization means goods hospital with
having better facilities, nursing care and
technology, provide better accessible, for people.
It means private owned hospitals.
Why Commercialization?
Life is very precious.
WHO reports show that most of the civil
hospitals/government hospitals in the country
do not have proper equipment and facilities
and the ratio of number of beds to population
of that city is very low for each of them.
Increased accessibility is the major benefit of
Commercialization.
Every Coin has two
sides
Advantages Of
Commercialization:

Commercialization of Health care can
make health facilities more accessible.
It can improve quality of service.
Commercialization is good because of
good infrastructure, update technology
, better nursing facilities, qualified
doctors etc.
Advantages Of
Commercialization:

It
  will improve our health services.
Awareness.
Quickness in treatment.
Family care.
Rules and Regulations.
Easily data available.
Disadvantages Of
Commercialization:

Poverty
High Cost
Exploitation
Monopoly Market
Boon for rich people, and curse for
poor people.
What Commercialization will
bring?
Commercialization words itself shows
the inability or incompetence of our
Government.

So what it will bring is, the most
important and ist point is that It will
remove our government’s inability
and incompetence
What Commercialization will
bring?
Better health services
Better Infrastructure
Fast health services
New Technology
Punctuality
Discipline
Innovation
Qualified and Dedicated staff.
Commercialization words itself
shows the inability or
incompetence of our
Government

So what it will bring is, the most
important point is that It will
remove our government’s
inability and incompetence.
What Government can do in order to
prevent exploitation of poor people?

Bond with private hospitals
Strict rules
Subsidies to poor people
Health Insurance of poor people
Control over corruption
Structure improvement by tie up
with private hospitals.
Some moral values that
hospitals must keep in mind:
Treat Patients with humanity.
Cure patients with love, care & +ve
behavior.
They should also provide emotional support
to patient’s family members.
Their motive should be welfare of people
not the profit oriented.
Concession for poor people.
Partiality should be avoided.
Hospitalization is a service and not
business.
Conclusion:
I conclude that commercial of health is necessary
but it should be kept in mind that we all want to live.
Minimum, keeping all the treatment within the range
of middle-lower class highly commercialization is
required for the better health of our nation because
HEALTH IS THE MOST VALUABLE than everything
in life.

So, if all above factors should be kept in mind i.e.
range of middle-lower class etc., then what I feel is
that commercialization will be good for us as well as
for our Nation.
