10. IMAM AL-RIDHA AND TIME
MANAGEMENT
Imam al-Ridha, peace be upon him, has
said: Try and divide your time into four
portions:

One portion of it should be to enter
into private conversation with Allah;

MANAGEMENT
َ‫و‬َ‫ة‬‫اع‬‫س‬َ‫أ‬‫ر‬ْ‫م‬ ‫أ‬‫ِل‬َ‫أ‬‫اش‬‫ع‬‫ـم‬ْ‫ال‬
One portion of it should be to seek
your sustenance;

13. IMAM AL-RIDHA AND TIME
MANAGEMENT
One portion of it should be to interact with your
brothers [in Islam], trust-worthy acquaintances -
individuals who point out your faults and
actually care about your deep down;

14. IMAM AL-RIDHA AND TIME
MANAGEMENT
One portion of it should be to enjoy
your legitimate pleasures.

15. IMAM AL-RIDHA AND TIME
MANAGEMENT
And with this last portion (your legitimate
pleasures – fun, entertainment, family time,
etc…) you will be able to manage and deal with
the other three parts.
