Create your own simple program using a repetition(i.e Loop) structure. You decide the theme. Provide an overview (i.e Program Design) of what your repetition structure is doing. First, write using a For loop for a fixed number of loops.
Then for the same program use a While loop with a sentinel approach.
When using the While loop, you will need some logic to exit the loop and you will need a loop counter.
You could take one of your prompts from Road Trip and create a loop around it.

Course Description:
This course uses psychological approaches to physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
The scientific method will be used as a lens to view adjustment issues. Topics include
personality and self-development, positive psychology, sex and gender, and relationships.
Emphasis is on application via personal assessment and stress management techniques.

I will be focusing on the alignment of your instruction and assessment to the state standards and also looking at the rigor you have built into your lesson. Please read the information below about the different parts of a lesson to help you when writing your own lesson plan.
Focus Activity: The Focus Activity typically a 5-10 min activity, discussion, review, video, etc. that serves to focus student attention on the topic of your lesson. It may also include an Anticipatory Set used to “hook” students or create interest in the topic.
Objective Statement: This statement is written using the verbiage you will use with the students.
It should relate to the targeted standard and include a performance behavior to ensure it is measurable. What will you ask students to do or produce to prove they are learning?
Purpose for Learning: Be sure to explain why it is important for students to learn what you are teaching them. I will be looking for you to include real-world application for the skill or content you are teaching about.
Instructional Steps: While my focus is not entirely on the instructional strategies you use, I will be looking at these as a means to assess the rigor of your lesson. Please be
VERY DETAILED in the Instructional Steps section. The idea behind this section is that another teacher would be able to pick up your lesson plan and implement it relatively seamlessly. Include the following in your Instructional Steps:

Focus Activity: The Focus Activity typically a 5-10 min activity, discussion, review, video, etc. that serves to focus student attention on the topic of your lesson. It may also include an Anticipatory Set used to “hook” students or create interest in the topic.
Objective Statement: This statement is written using the verbiage you will use with the students.
It should relate to the targeted standard and include a performance behavior to ensure it is measurable. What will you ask students to do or produce to prove they are learning?

Interview with a Native of Your State
Details:
Locate a person who has lived in your state his/her whole life or at least 90% of their life. Ask the person’s
permission to use his or her name and quotations in the paper, and ask the individual how to correctly
spell their name. Prepare your questions ahead of time and craft them well. Find out about the person’s
experience with tourists and/or transplants.
Write an essay of 250-500 words about the experience. Do not write it as a verbatim account of the
interview. Use quotes as needed, but write the paper as an essay. Where did you meet the person? How
long have they lived here? What did you learn? Was this person’s attitude typical? How, specifically, did
the person native to your state treat the tourist?
Reflect on how much this experience stretched your comfort zone and how this observation could affect
your intercultural communication.

student from another country who will return home after a short period of time. Ask for the person’s

experience as a tourist.

Communication Interview.” Where did you meet the person? How long did you visit? What did you learn?
Was this person’s experience typical of what you read in the textbook about how hosts and tourists

Details:
Choose a country that you have not lived in, nor spent more than a week in. Find at least three book
sources and at least seven sources in all and begin reading about the culture of this country. You may
choose a specific ethnic group in the country or discuss the country as a whole.
13. Research what a person would need to know in order to visit your country successfully. In your search,
look for topics such as family, status of children, role of women, role of the aged, customs, taboos,
superstitions, values, language, body language, gestures, prejudices, foods, clothing, work ethic, death
and mourning rituals, marriage rituals, education, religion, traditions, holidays, and ways of celebrating.
Also look for important events in history or politics that have shaped the culture.
Identify places that are a “must-see” for visitors to the country. This paper, when completed, will be a
guide for the visitor to the country. It should be 1,250-1,500 words in length and may include maps,
pictures, and drawings.
