Are you a fanatic for Jesus or a follower of Jesus.docxEdwin Baza
The difference between a fanatic and follower of Jesus! We live in a day where people profess to be Christian but their lives don't show it.
This devotional is written to show you who are the true and who are the false followers of Christ.
Keep in mind: We may have some characteristics being a fan than a follower from time to time in our walk with Christ. However, this is just to exhort and encourage us to live out our lives in obedience to the will and ways of God.

This is a bible study I did 10 years ago and created a PowerPoint slide on 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
This is the visual guide that goes with the The Gospel: Triune Message Notes
Exploring Vulnerable States of Being That Can Lead Us Into Sin.
State of Being is not in and of itself sinful or wrong but can be open doors to sin and or a foothold from the devil.
A breakdown of the model of prayer Jesus gave to His Disciples. Not only did it apply to the Disciples but it also applies to us as those who believe in Christ are Disciples as well.
This study is based on 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. The Gospel is a Tri-Une Message Divinely Inspired By God. The Gospel displays the attributes of God as the message is omniscient (knows the man's spiritual condition), omnipotent (it is the power of God unto salvation) and omnipresent (it is widely known all throughout the world and continues to spread to unreached nations, tribes, and people).
The Gospel is:
1. Christ Died
2. Christ Buried
3. Christ Rose from The Dead (on the Third Day)
Anything that adds or subtracts is another gospel and a false one!

2 Peter 3: Because some scriptures are hard to understand and some will force them to say things God never intended, Peter warns us to take care.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
