 An arrangement or pattern of colors or colored
objects
Color Scheme
 Using tints and shades of a single color
Monochromatic Color Scheme
 Colors that are opposite each other on the color
wheel, example: red and green.
Complementary Color Scheme
 Colors that are next to each other on the color wheel,
example: blue green, green, yellow green.
Analogous Color Scheme
 In addition to the base color, it uses the two colors
adjacent to its complement, example: green (base
color), red orange, red violet.
Split Complementary Color Scheme
 colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel,
example: violet, orange, green.
