This document summarizes data on children in Collin County, Texas. It finds that while the total and child populations have grown tremendously, poverty has also increased, disproportionately impacting non-white groups. Nearly 15% of residents live near poverty, with rates over 35% for Hispanic residents. Poverty is also highly localized, with some block groups having rates over 50%. Overall, the data shows population growth, increasing poverty, and racial inequality among children in Collin County.
