This document provides instructions for an observational drawing assignment. Students are asked to create a double page observational drawing of a collection in their sketchbook using different media. They should also take a series of photographs of the collection and include research on an artist with a graphical style. For extra credit, students can complete a larger observational drawing or a page on an artist inspired by their collection's theme. The document lists some graphical artists to research and includes deadlines.

1. Create at least a double page of observational drawing of
your chosen collection in your sketchbook. You should use a
range of media to do this.
2. Take a series of photographs of your chosen collection.
These should be presented in your sketchbook or on a A1
mount board (for extra marks use photoshop to edit images)
3. Research and print images
and information on an artist
that creates work in a
graphical style
