What is a collaborative program? Allow students to complete both a degree and a diploma or certificate at the same time. College gives credit for work done here, we give credit for work done there (no duplication of coursework). Students apply into a collaborative program at the end of Year One. Why Complete a Collaborative Program? Gain employability skills and practical experience. Employers have indicated a strong interest in hiring students who have both the critical thinking and research skills typically gained during degree studies, plus the applied knowledge and training typically obtained during college studies.
