PersonalStatement
Colin Johnson is a widely experienced ITIL trained Program Manager with previous experience as Head of IT
for multiple company groups and Systems & Software development management. His cumulative knowledge
and training enables him to visualise from Business Opportunity through specification, develop or procure, test
and implement systems into a supported service and understand the impact on the company’s performance.
Key Skills
He has strong experience in Program Management having deployed large scale transformation programs in
many different geographies and now acts as mentor to Program and Project Managers delivering Workplace
programs and new business bids around the world. He has used this experience to create CSC Repeatable
Project Delivery and solve some key business problems for CSC.
As Head of IT (Multiple roles) Colin developed the IT strategy using internal , 3rd party supplier, consultant and
his own knowledge to support the differing business needs of the groups he worked for, He has implemented
major change to multiple companies with newly selected or developed systems alongside implementing
disaster recover procedures to support 7*24 business operations.
Colin’s system development experience has included most of the basic commercial systems as well as real
time control systems He has strong experience of Rapid Application development (fore runner to Agile) and
amended waterfall project delivery and the requirements – development – testing and deployment process.
Developing people is a key factor in the successful delivery of new systems.

Selected as one of CSC’s top 100 emerging leaders, Colin has executed several roles in CSC
including major Workplace and Infrastructure program delivery across multiple disciplines and
geographic regions. He now acts as a mentor to CSC bids and Transformation programs across
CSC and is involved in the preparation of bids and transformation delivery programs
Development of CSC’s Repeatable Project delivery approach has surpassed the original
requirements and through repeated communications/stakeholder management it has been adopted
by CSC globally. The combination of original thinking, strategy preparation, influencing
stakeholders, toolset and process development, resource selection and training and delivery to
global teams with continuous updates and new releases has resulted in CSC being ahead of their
competitors in this area.
The RPD approach has been adopted across in CSC to reduce bid costs, eliminate discrepancies
between new business bid and Transformation program start-ups. It increases quality in CSC’s
large scale program delivery in its outsourcing business.
He has increased his capabilities in customer presentation, stakeholder management, influencing
people and end to end delivery of services. Selecting and developing of key resources has proved
beneficial to both CSC and Colin.
