Coffee Hour is one of the most valuable student programs at the University of Oregon. It is also one of the least well known. This presentation was created to raise awareness for coffee hour.

5. If you take 16 credit hours at the University of Oregon for 4 years…

7. You will sit in the same classroom as an international student 48 times

8. But how many do you know?

12. It’s understandable if you don’t know many international students

13. After all, you might not have much in common with them

14. They might speak a different language

15. They might have different friends

16. They might have different political views

17. But they have at least 1 thing in common with you:

33. You can sit down on one of the cozy couches…

35. … and have a conversation with a student…

38. … or anywhere outside the US!
