Code of Conduct
When visiting our Nature Reserve
Field Trip Mindset
 Not a sight-seeing trip. It is an
outdoor lesson. You are expected
to observe, pay attention, ask and
learn.
 Not a chit-chatting session with
friends. It is selfish and
inconsiderate to talk to your
friends during the programme
because you disturb and interrupt
their learning process.
A Place for Everyone
 Understand that the reserve is the
home to a wide variety of living
things.
 Other visitors come here to relax
and enjoy the peace and tranquillity
in the reserve.
Be a Considerate Visitor
 Speak only in WHISPERS, do not
shout or laugh loudly.
 Do not scream (Especially when
animals/insects are sighted).
 Walk quietly.
Animal Sightings
 Observe wild animals from a safe
distance. Do not touch or provoke
them.
 Do not swipe insects flying near
you. Simply move away. Swiping
may cause the insects to sting
you in defence.
When Monkeys are Sighted…
 Do not scream.
 Keep all food & plastic bags out
of sight in your sling bag as
monkeys may come close to
snatch your food.
 Observe the monkeys from a safe
distance.
Safe and Enjoyable Trip
 Be aware of your surrounding, use
your senses to observe your
surrounding.
 Always follow the instructions of
your Nature Educator.
 Inform your Nature Educator if
you’re not feeling well.
 Drink water freely during the trip.
Enjoy your Journey!
