This document summarizes the results of employer surveys about recent graduates from a clinical laboratory science program. While the graduates scored highly on national exams and were technically proficient according to employers, the surveys indicated that the graduates were lacking in effective teamwork and communication skills. The document proposes focusing on creating cohesive groups, fostering communication skills, demonstrating and encouraging teamwork, and defining projects to improve relations with other departments in order to address the deficiencies identified in the surveys.
