Catholic Studies event that brought up
two Jesuits from Mexico, Fr. Jorge
Atilano, S.J., and Fr. Gabriel Mendoza,
S.J., directors of the Miguel Pro Human
Rights Office in Mexico City, and they
shared their work for justice, with Tom
Florek S.J. translating and sharing his
own perspectives on their project.

16. Murilo Seabra spent a year living in the Amazon with indigenous
people and rubber tappers. With his interest in philosophy beyond
the boundaries of academia, he shared informal reflections about
the valuable philosophical insights he received during that time.
