1. Introduction
Circular vibrating screen, the working principle is in nearly circular trajectory, and

3. Working Principle
While the vibrating screen is working, exciting force is produced by uniaxial exciter of
the machine which is driven by a common vibration motor. It will then pass through a
screen box and enter into the screen mesh cloth area. Materials are forced
continually to sieve through the screen mesh’s area by the vibration created from
uniaxial exciter in circular trajectory. The purpose of material classification will be
achieved through this action.
There are two supporting forms: suspension support and pedestal support.
Suspension support, screen area is fixed on the screen box, and the box is suspended
or supported by the spring, the bearing of spindle is installed on the screen box,
spindle is driven at high speed by the belt wheel. Eccentric disc is installed on the
spindle, rotation of spindle will generate centrifugal force, the screen box that can
vibrate freely will produce a vibration with circular trajectory.

7. Structural Component
The main parts of circular vibrating screen machine consists of screen box, screen
mesh, vibrator, damping spring device, chassis and other components. It is using

8. Failure Analysis and Solution
Reason analysis
(1) Imbalance pressure acting on the screen mesh
Imbalanced materials input: this is because feeding belt is always slid off or
accumulated with the remains input by its funnel, causes overload input on one side
of the screen mesh while the other side is in almost no load operation. Therefore,
this will increase the damage possibility on the screen mesh.
(2) Materials have long residence time
As the materials moving slowly on the screen, the screen surface area will
accumulate excessive materials, causing the circular vibrating screen always in under
overload condition which will greatly bring a lot of damages such as screen damage,
flexible couplings tear off, spring damage, cabinet cracking.

Solution
(1) Addition of sub feeder
Addition of a sub feeder at the feeder belt, the sub feeder is flexible in moving
according to the sliding condition of feeding belt which will cause the input materials
to be distributed equally into both side funnel and enter into the circular vibration
screen. This can result in equally distribution into both side funnel and it is a good
way to solve the problem of imbalance materials input.
(2) Increase in inclination of the screen surface, increase the speed of the feeding
belt
With the slow moving speed of materials on the screen’s surface, it will result in
accumulation of the excessive materials, pressure will create to the screen surface.
Therefore, the solution is to minimize the residence time of the materials to stay on
the screen mesh by adjusting the angle of the circle vibrating screen under the fixed
feeding rate and increase inclination of the circle vibrating screen so that can
increase the transporting speed of the materials.

9. Product Installation
1. Installation step:
(1) Read carefully and clearly understand on the product specification and
installation instructions.
(2) Counted carefully on all the
received components in
accordance to invoice.
(3) Install work platform and
screen body pillar.
(4) The body of the screen is
hanged on the four supportive
pillars which are above the work platform, make sure the axis of the damping is
perpendicular to the work platform.
(5) Install the feeding chute at every stage.
(6) Check on the surrounding of the machine’s fixed structure and make sure it has
approximately 30-50 mm of the empty space to the vibration screen to prevent any
collision waiting to happen.

2. Commissioning step:
(1) Connect to the power supply, warm up the machine for around 10 min,check
carefully and make sure there is absent of abnormal noise and the amplitude is
normal.
(2) After everything is okay, run the trial operation without any material for 1 hour.
After that, check all the fasteners if there are in loose condition.
(3) Put in with materials for load test, check if the amplitude has reach 8 mm,if there
is something wrong with the amplitude, adjust both sides counterweight of the
screen box ( Attention: both sides of counterweight should change in the same time
with the same number and specification)
(4) All of the records should be noted down during test run, check it out if it is in
compliance with international standard. The load test have to operate for 4 hours,
after that stop the operation. Before stopping the operation, the input process has to
be stopped first and make sure there is nothing on the surface of the screen.

10. Maintenance
1. Always keep clean working environment.
2. High temperature lubricant grease should be used for vibrator bearing, apply 2
times every week for the first month , after that apply 2 times for every month.
3. Often check on vibrator flange bolts,
screen plate fixing bolt and support
bolts are not in loose condition, so
that it can always maintain the
pre-tensioning force.
4. The maintenance should be taken
when the vibrating screen is
connected for three months.
(1) Clean the vibration device, add
lubricate oil into all the lubricating
points.
(2) Clean the machine.
(3) Check on the wear condition of the screen, immediately change it if there is
any damage on it.
5. The vibrating screen must be checked and maintained after 1 year operation.
(1) Dismantle the motor terminal box, check on the insulator cable and the
insulation between the insulator cable and metal box.
(2) Clean the vibrator bearing with new lubricant grease .
(3) Check on all the wearing part,change it immediately if there is any damage of
it.
(4) There is necessary to have a test run after all the maintenance procedures
have done,any requirements may refer to foregoing of the product instruction.

11. Safety Regulations
1. Before on duty, all related staffs must wear with personal protective equipment.
2. Before the operation of vibration screen, check around the machine if there any
obstacle which may cause interference during product operation and make sure
the drive system is in normal
and reliable condition.
Furthermore, check on the
screen box, screen plate and
spring if there is any fracture
and make sure rivets and bolts
must be not in a loose
condition.
3. Screen machine idling which
first is starting the machine,
then operate a complete
operation process. In the mean time, check it out if there is any abnormal sound
and phenomenon. Check also if there is any jumping off spring from the machine
when the machine is switch off.
4.Check out the stability of the operation process when the screen machine is idling,
and focus on the temperature of the vibration motor, the temperature should not
exceed 70°C
5. The process of materials feeding must be in uniform, so that the materials are
distributed uniformly on the screen’s surface. If there is deviation in materials
feeding, adjust the feeding point, support device, spring, and the excitation force
from the vibration motor.

6. During the operation, always check with the motor, temperature of vibration
bearing, test on the screen if there is abnormal sound, stopping the process
immediate if there is any abnormal found out.
7. Check on the vibration condition of the screen to see if the amplitude is within the
specified range
8. Stop materials feeding
when the screen machine is
stop operating, switch off the
motor after the screen
surface is completely cleaned
without any materials on it,
clean up all the residue on the screen after the machine is switch off.
9. After that, switch off the power supply, clean the site and hygiene equipment.
