Cigar is a tightly rolled bundle of dried and fermented tobacco.
The word CIGAR originated from the Spanish CIGARRO, which in
turn probably derives from the Mayan SICAR (“to smoke rolled
tobacco leaves”).
Cigar is made up of three types of Tobacco leaves.
Fillers – broken or crushed leaves
which forms the centre of cigar
Binders- small leaves are bound
around the filler and a special type of
glue is used to bind these leaves in
cigar
Wrappers- big leaves that are soft
& elastic wrapped to give the final
smooth surface
