Child labour refers to when children are forced to work for companies or groups, sometimes experiencing physical abuse. It is most prevalent in conditions of extreme poverty in Asian countries like India, where children have to contribute to family incomes. However, children should be in school, spending time with their families and enjoying their childhood through play rather than labour. The public has the power to raise awareness and stand up for children's rights, and child labour can be stopped by banning it or confronting those exploiting child workers. All people should treat children with the same respect we desire for ourselves.
