Mission Statement
 St. Anne’s Children and Family Center (St. Anne’s) is sponsored by Catholic
Charities Spokane to provide an early learning program that collaborates
with parents in caring for and educating their children. We view children
as competent and capable learners who learn best in a hands-on,
intellectually rich environment that sparks their creative imagination and
prepares them to be a successful learner ready for school.

 Nonprofit ran by the Y
 Serves 159-187 children at a time
 Ages 6 weeks to 10 years
 Teacher qualifications: CDA or teaching degree
Little Sprouts
 Nonprofit
 Licensed to have 9 kids
 4 week to 12 months
 No degree necessary, based on owner
 Mission Statement: It was our firm belief that children flourish in a nurturing
environment

Child center experiences

  • 2. St. Anne’s Children & Family Center  Head Start/Early Start/ECEAP  Nonprofit organization ran by the Y  Serves 200 kids ages 4 weeks through 6 years  Lead teacher qualifications: degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA
  • 3. Mission Statement  St. Anne’s Children and Family Center (St. Anne’s) is sponsored by Catholic Charities Spokane to provide an early learning program that collaborates with parents in caring for and educating their children. We view children as competent and capable learners who learn best in a hands-on, intellectually rich environment that sparks their creative imagination and prepares them to be a successful learner ready for school.
  • 4. EWU Children’s Center  Nonprofit ran by the Y  Serves 159-187 children at a time  Ages 6 weeks to 10 years  Teacher qualifications: CDA or teaching degree
  • 5. Little Sprouts  Nonprofit  Licensed to have 9 kids  4 week to 12 months  No degree necessary, based on owner  Mission Statement: It was our firm belief that children flourish in a nurturing environment
