6. Our Canada Project
The Our Canada project leverages the
CRRF’s online resource capabilities and
builds on key achievements of the
Interfaith and Belonging initiative,
particularly the establishment of strong
faith and community networks. Each of
the 10 components of the Our Canada
project provides a platform for
Canadians to come together and do the
work required to achieve long-term
improvement, greater public
understanding and viable change.

Statement
Tides Canada
Early-stage and/or small scale
social/creative initiatives need to
have the administrative capacity to
manage operations and funds
without diverting undue energy into
incorporation and back-office costs.
10. Design Brief
Take the fundamentals of
entrepreneurial support –
coaching, connections and cash –
and top them up with
administrative infrastructure and a
charitable home, all built on the
established shared platform
infrastructure of Tides Canada
Initiatives.

This can lead to a sustainable
practice and proven business
model for transitioning groups to

13. Problem
Statement
Pioneers for Change
The business case for diversity is not
taking hold as it should. The notion
of diversity is seen as altruistic (social
benefit), but the truth is that
diversity is an essential component
of competition and innovation.
