Forming
As well as the rapid and flexible solution Etch-tech provides
for your flat precision components. You can take advantage
of our expertise in manufacturing 3D (formed) parts.
Having the choice between half etched fold lines or hard
formed bends gives you the flexibility no other process can
offer. If half etched bend lines are not suitable for your
application we often offer fully formed parts utilising form
tools from our extensive tool library, thereby reducing your
non recurring charges.
EMI/RFI Shielding
Chemical Milling is well established as an ideal solution for
EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) challenges, by
providing a quick and cost effective method for Electro
Magnetic Interference (EMI) shielding. Although requiring
differing parameters the process is equally suitable for RFI
(Radio Frequency Interference) shielding.

you the process has now been superseded by laser or water jet
cutting, which could not be further from the truth. Whilst these
processes do of course have a place in modern manufacturing, Etching

mechanical contact or applied heat during manufacture, the Etch Tech

from burrs, edge embrittlement or induced stresses.

Etch-tech have achieved and maintain the ISO9001:2008 quality management standard. All of the products we produce undergo a rigorous
dimensional and visual inspection process before being carefully packed and dispatched for next working day delivery.
We use calibrated shadow graph’s both in production and as final inspection machinery which have been specifically re engineered with
etching in mind. One has a digital readout to insure accurate measurement for clients. This allows Customers to have specific
measurement tolerances but also allows us to complete Customers First Off inspection reports FAIR, SPC, PPAP and many more requested
by our customers.
Visual Inspection is to insure that no inclusions or pin holes are on the parts which may have a tendency to weaken the parts or to damage
their decorative finish. These can be caused as the process is a liquid process and can cause small pits.
Parts are then packed according to their vulnerability to insure they arrive at our Customers premises undamaged and in the same
condition they left us. We use UK Mail and UPS dependent on our Customers requirement. We are also happy to send Customers parts out
on the Customers own account either by our chosen couriers or by the Customers. Being where we are on Alconbury Enterprise Zone this
is extremely easy as we are close to all courier depots.
