Psaroudakis, a name that resonates with football fans around the globe, is a testament to the powerful synergy between familial support and individual passion. Born on March 10, 1992, in the historic city of Heraklion, Crete, Psaroudakis’ journey to international football stardom is a compelling narrative of dedication, perseverance, and unwavering family support. His story not only highlights his athletic prowess but also underscores the crucial role his family played in shaping his career and character.
Psaroudakis’ early life in Heraklion was deeply influenced by a supportive and nurturing family environment. His father, a former semi-professional footballer, recognized Psaroudakis’ potential from an early age. Acting as his first coach, his father’s guidance was instrumental in igniting Psaroudakis’ passion for football. This paternal influence instilled in him a strong work ethic and fundamental skills that would become the foundation of his future success. His mother, a dedicated homemaker, provided a stable and nurturing environment, ensuring that Psaroudakis could pursue his dreams without any hindrances.
From a young age, Psaroudakis showed an innate talent for football. Growing up in Heraklion, he spent countless hours playing football in local parks and streets with friends and family. His natural ability was evident even in these informal settings, and his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. The transition from playing in local parks to joining a structured football environment marked a significant step in Psaroudakis’ journey. At the age of ten, he joined the youth academy of OFI Crete, one of Greece’s most esteemed football clubs. This move marked the beginning of a more rigorous and professional approach to his training. The academy environment was demanding, focusing on honing technical abilities and instilling values of sportsmanship and dedication. This familial support was not just about providing the basics; it was about creating an environment where Psaroudakis felt encouraged and motivated to pursue his dreams relentlessly.
As Psaroudakis transitioned from the youth academy to professional football, the challenges became more significant.

Five days later, they travel south to face France in Leipzig, a side led by Kylian Mbappe - one of the finest players in the world currently and one of the most impressive players in his nation's history. To conclude, they face Austria in Berlin, knowing it could be the end of the road if they don't perform.
Ronald Koeman is widely considered one of the more successful Dutch managers in Premier League history, considering the nation has a reputation for struggling to replicate their talents in England. The former Everton manager went against that script and shone — and now he is back managing his nation.

Netherlands vs Austria: Ronald Koeman's Tactical Approach For UEFA Euro 2024
As well as being the highest-scoring defender in history, Koeman is a man with immense tactical knowledge. He returned to manage Holland at the start of 2023 after it was announced Louis van Gaal would retire. His life back in the dugout with the team wasn't easy, as he lost his first match 4-0 to France after going 3-0 down within 21 minutes.
However, he eventually helped them qualify for Euro Cup Germany. The 61-year-old likes to organize his team with a defensive mindset. Some might call it pragmatic as he defends with minimal space between the lines, but that's often needed for international football.

1. CHEERLEADING
BY: SYDNEY MILLS
“You’re at the gym lifting
weights, that’s cute.
Cheerleaders lift people”

“Keep your head high, your cheer bow higher, and your confidence
highest.”

2. MY CHEER BEST
FRIEND
My best friend and I have
been friends since grade 2.
Her name is Zoey and she is
the one who introduced me to
cheerleading. Our high
school’s team is the cheer
team that we are on. Her and
I always work well together
and both of us have a love
for cheer.
Zoey and I have
travelled on all of our out of
town competitions together.
Cheerleading is something
that can really bring the two
of us together.
3. MY STUNT GROUP
A stunt group in cheerleading
consists of 4 to 5 people, a
flyer, two bases, and a backspot.
There are different stunts that can
be executed most of which require
all 5 people. On some All-star teams
choose to stick to “one man” stunts.
This means only one person is
underneath the flyer.
My stunt group is one of the
strongest out of our team. We
work together and trust each
other, therefore most stunts of
ours hit consistently.
As a flyer I have to put all my
trust is the people who are
holding me up in the
air, throwing me, and catching
me. With out the trust there is
no doubt that our stunts will not
hit.
4. STUNTING
My favorite stunts
• Extended Heel Stretch
• Basket Full/Basket
Tosses
• Twist Cradles
• Full-ups
• Barrel Rolls
Stunting is a major part of cheerleading which
requires a lot of strength and confidence. In order to
make the stunt hit you must work together as one and
communicate with each other. To be a flyer/top one of
the main prerequisites is to be flexible and know your
bases will catch you no matter the situation.
5. UNIFORMS AND PERFORMANCE
From the uniform to the bow to the smiles, everything matter and must look perfect.
Cheer hair is a very traditional and popular style at competitions and practices. As for
uniforms, they may come is many different styles colours and sizes. Most All-star teams
have a cropped top and shorts with all sorts of designs and patterns. They will most likely
have the teams name or abbreviation across the chest of the top. Cheer faces are
another cheer tradition. They are more than just a simple smile, you must look very
excited and full of energy.
“If you’re cheer faces
make you feel stupid
you’re doing it right”
-Unknown
6. STRENGTH AND AGILITY
To be a cheerleader is more than jumping around,
cheering and smiling for the crowd. It requires and
excessive amount of strength and stamina. Some
stereotypical sayings about cheerleading that people think
are that you must be blonde, have a skinny body, have
small feet and that they aren’t athletes. All of which are
incorrect. Hair colour doesn’t determine if you are a
cheerleader, having a thin body also doesn’t decide
whether you have a spot on a cheer team. Although
being healthy and in shape does give you an advantage
when it comes to stunting and doing the routine.
