This document describes an inventory management system called CheckMate EMS for emergency services organizations. It allows users to [1] track inventory levels and locations, expiration dates, and lot numbers; [2] generate replenishment reports to restock vehicles and locations; and [3] comply with controlled substance tracking requirements. Additional features include equipment checkout tracking, document management, and label printing. Dynamic Systems provides the software and rugged hardware needed to implement this inventory control solution.

Equipment & Tool Tracking
Check equipment in/out to a person, location, vehicle—
anything that is set up with a “badge”. Track critical items
and schedule maintenance. Account for consumables, set
min/max levels and replenish from Stockroom inventory.
Document Tracking
Track the movement of files, manuals and other documents
from person or location to the next. Reserve documents, print
overdue reports. Document tracking will inventory archived
documents—their box/shelf/pallet—for easy retrieval.
Rugged Equipment & Labels
Dynamic Systems selects barcode terminals and printers for
their ruggedness and reliability. Barcode labels are polyester
and laminated—designed to withstand moisture, abrasion and
harsh conditions. 2D labels are available for especially small
items.
