9. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Elwyn Brooks White, was an esteemed American writer
born on July 11, 1899, in Mount Vernon, New York. He
was a prolific author known for his contributions to
literature, particularly in the genres of essays, poetry,
and children's literature.
