The class on character education and leadership will consist of several components aimed at developing virtues like attitude, preparation, perseverance, respect, honesty, integrity, courage, appreciation, self-control, empathy, gratitude, tolerance, duty, loyalty, responsibility, compassion, and leadership. Students will complete character points, film questions, role model webquests, ethical dilemmas, group discussions, and a final speech exam. The teacher, Mr. Murphy, maintains a Moodle website and students can earn a good grade by being on time, being kind to others, keeping the room clean, and turning in all assignments.
