2. Context and Rationale
• The twenty-first century has arrived at such a rapid pace
that the advancement of modern technology is
inevitable. The continuous rise in demand for this set of
skills among teachers is highly anticipated.
• Technology provides students with easy access to
information, accelerated learning, and enjoyable
opportunities to put what they've learned into practice.
• Students can assess and monitor their development using
the Student Portal, allowing them to identify areas in
which they need to improve. Using this portal, parents
can guide their children to reach their full potential.
3. Statement of the Problem
1. How’s the experience of using the Student Portal for:
1.1 students
1.2 parents
2. What is the respondents’ level of satisfaction in using the
portal?
3. Does the portal help the respondents to cope up with
the requirements of the subject?
4. Based on the findings, what adjustments and
modification may be proposed to further improve the use
of Student Portal?
4. Theories
• To comply with the system of integrated support for their students’,
schools need to build partnership with parents and develop mutual
responsibility for childrens’ success in the educational system. (Masa
Durisic and Mila Bunijevac)
• the power of technology to influence and enhance academia by
providing experiences that lead to deep learning. These include
allowing students to learn collaboratively, test out and redesign
models, and articulate their knowledge both visually and verbally.
(Professor R. Keith Sawyer)
• Students need parents, friends, and supervisors who are also teachers
and coaches. The primary function of the school-to-work movement is
to mobilize understanding and support so that students will acquire
the skills, habits, values, and understandings essential to productivity in
all the roles of life (Hakim et al. 2000, p. 263).
5. Research Constructs
The questionnaires were divided into two parts by the
researchers:
• The first section seeks information about the students'
and parents' demographics. It includes questions about
age, gender, civil status, and employment.
• The second seeks information about the parent's job,
internet access, technological knowledge, and gadget
availability. Also, their experiences in using the portal
6. Research Methods and Procedures
This section contains various references and sources of
information that were obtained and used to support our
research. These references aided the researchers in their
examination, analysis, and interpretation of the entire study.
1. Question formulation that is subject to revision.
2. Once approved, the question will be carried out in
Google Forms.
3. Google Forms will be integrated into the Student Portal.
4. After the time limit has expired, the answers will be
analyzed and interpreted.
