Terms myth – traditional stories about gods and heroes oracle – sacred shrine where a priest or priestess spoke for a god or goddess; typically answered questions with riddles epic – long poems about heroic deeds fable – a short tale that teaches a lesson
tragedy – a story in which a person  struggles to overcome difficulties but fails comedy – a story that ends happily Drama – story told by actors who pretend to be characters in the story
