(My role and responsibility in following projects : Idea Conceptualization, Concept note, Vendor evaluations, Vendor

Project 1: Lite Mobile Banking Application
To promote digital banking in rural areas or areas with poor internet connectivity. I was responsible for
building solution to improve the presence of digital banking in rural area. This project involves Market
research, consumer behavior and user experience of a segment that is less tech savvy and have very limited
resource. Beauty of the Lite Mobile Banking Application of HDFC bank is its ability to work without internet
connection.
Project 2: Phone recharge on miss call
This project strengthens the position of HDFC bank in ease of payments. With high competition in the
market due to payment banks, this project was designed to capture small ticket transactions along with the
‘word of mouth’ and ‘wow experience’ of customer.
Project 3: Hyper Local Targeting (Offers Nearby)
A magnificent method of targeting customer by their location. This project involves pushing of the offers
near to the customer’s location. Customer’s location is captured by the HDFC Bank’s mobile application
installed in customer device. Real-time offer on customer’s mobile device in the form of push notification
resulted in significant growth of offer conversion.
Project 4: Social Media Banking
Social Media Banking, leveraging social media (Facebook and Twitter) as a channel to reach bank’s customer.
This initiative is to capture young customer’s attention in retail banking and to give ‘wow experience’ to
existing customer base. With Social Media Banking a customer would able to do transactions or transfer of
funds (Low value) on social media platforms itself.
