Celebrate Deliverance is based on Freedom from Addiction and is Christ centered. We believe the the only true way to be free from addiction is through Jesus Christ. There is freedom and deliverance through the finished work of Jesus.
My friend, you don’t need to keep waiting until the Lord tells you what your call is. He already stated it in the scriptures. He charged us to do the very same things that he was doing. He was not going to ask us to do something that we were not able to do. He put it in our spirit everything that we could ever need to do what he commanded us to do.

Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
We are starting again our 8 weeks Seminar Learning to Prophesy.
For this first session we have three sets of notes:
Learning to Prophesy, October 24 2013, 1
Learning to Prophesy, October 24 2013, 2
Activation number 1, October 24 2013.
I’m having trouble with the audio, but I will load earlier next week.
This Seminar will end on Thursday December 19 2013.
There are gateways that connect the Holy Spirit with our spirit; the spirit with the soul and the soul with the body and the body with the external world. Do you know them?

What are you? Who are you? Maybe it is time for a little introspectionAlan Williamson
How do you identify yourself? By what you do or who you know? By relationships?
All these things can change. Who are you... really?
Let's take a look inside
Our beloved Bishop, Brother Itse Enonuya admonished and encouraged the congregation to grow her interest in the work of evangelism.
He asked this key question: What makes an evangelistic congregation?
In Summary:
1. An evangelistic congregation is one committed to pleasing their Lord,
2. An evangelistic congregation is one that is committed to a spiritual relationship with Jehovah God.
3. An evangelistic congregation is one that is completely committed to the concept of reaching out to the lost.
4. An evangelistic congregation is one that is balanced in reaching out to the lost.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. How You got Where You Are
Statement One
I place all my trust and confidence in the Lord, and I put no
confidence in the flesh. I declare myself to be dependent upon
God. I know that I cannot save my self, nor set my self free by my
own efforts and resources. I know that apart from Jesus Christ I
can do nothing.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
3. Paul Didn’t Say, What Will Set Me Free?
But WHO – No Program Set Free
•
•
•
•
•
Freedom is found only in Jesus Christ.
It is for freedom Christ set us free. (see Galatians 5:1)
Freedom is the birthright and inheritance of every child of God.
It is part of the package.
Do not settle for less.
4. What Ever the Addictive Behavior Is
• It is not the behavior but the lie behind it.
We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up
against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought
captive to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they are a mere breath.
Psalm 94:11
• God knows our thoughts are futile, but do we? Or are we still
trying to figure it out???
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
5. Deceptive Thoughts and Lies Keep Us In Bondage
• Truth sets us free and Lies keep us in bondage.
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing
firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery (to the law).
Galatians 5:1
• Most programs are law-based (what to do and not do) BUT if you
depend on any program instead of Jesus you are under the law
and bondage.
6. The Power of Sin is the Law
And the Law Arouses Sin.
The Sting of Death is sin and the power of sin is the law.
1 Corinthians 15:56
For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were
aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to
bear fruit for death. Romans 7:5
7. When We Reason We Go Astray
Trust God from the bottom of your heart. Don’t try
to figure out everything on your own. Listen for
God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you
go. He’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t
assume you know it all. Run to God. Run from evil.
Proverbs 3:5-7 (MSG)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
8. The Basis for Temptation
• Is our desire to meet legitimate needs which only Jesus can meet.
• The source of our addiction are only the objects of our temptation.
• It is to believe that we need it to be
somebody, succeed, cope, deal with stress and pressure, find
comfort and/or survive.
• We need Jesus. - Only He can meet our needs. He is all we need.
• We are complete in Jesus.
9. Deception = Bondage
• If we believe we need something besides Jesus.
• We are deceived and in bondage even if its good things – Family –
Spouse – Ministry – Job…
• Freedom is when we believe we have everything we need for life
and Godliness.
• We are complete in Jesus Christ and you can’t get anymore
complete than that.
10. Understanding the Problem
•
•
•
•
•
Solution the world offers is self-improvement or flesh improvement.
The World offers a way to cope, but not to change.
The world offers restraints (LAW), but no true freedom.
It doesn't offer freedom from our past.
Freedom is not part of the world’s solution.
Only Jesus Is!
11. Most Programs are Fear Based
• If you don’t stop drinking, drugging you will be
imprisoned, institutionalized or die.
Fear involves Punishment… (1John 4:18)
• They live in fear that the hammer of god will fall on them,
• But the hammer has fallen on Jesus and there is no more
guilt, condemnation, shame or punishment.
12. What’s Wrong With The 12 Steps?
Absolutely nothing, except they won’t set you free.
What do the 12 steps leave out that is essential?
• The parson of Jesus and the Work of Jesus.
• Forgiveness, Identity, Grace, Faith and the Holy Spirit.
• Unconditional love and an answer for guilt.
• Our position in Christ and the defeat of sin and the Devil.
• The Word of God, Spiritual Warfare and Prayer.
• Our co-crucifixion to the world and flesh, freeing us from it.
• And Jesus in you and you in Jesus, ~Jesus is our LIFE.~
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
13. Have we Bought the Lie?
• The Lie is that addiction is so hard to get free from that
we need something more than what Jesus has
accomplished with His finished work on the Cross.
• That lie is the bases of most programs, even many
Christian programs based on the “12 steps” that focus on
what you have to do and not what Jesus has done.
14. As Long as We Believe a Lie
We will be in bondage if we believe
•
•
•
•
•
I am an addict, alcoholic, food addict, anorexic, etc.
I am hopeless and helpless.
I am never going to change.
I am no good and a failure.
I will never be able to do it right.
15. What Did Jesus Come to Do?
Luke 4:18,19
• To Preach Good News.
• To Proclaim Deliverance to the captives.
• To Recovery of sight (truth) to the blind.
• Free all who are oppressed.
• To Proclaim GRACE!
16. What Have We Been Delivered From?
• Romans 5:9 – God’s Anger.
• Matthew 1:21 - Our Sins.
• John 3:16,17 – Perishing in hell and condemnation.
• Luke 1:71 – Our Enemies and all who hate us.
• Galatians 1:4 – This evil age that we live in.
• Hebrews 2:14,15 – The Devil and fear of death.
17. How Do We Get Into Bondage?
• We Don’t Get Into Bondage Because off
what happened to us,
• But because of how we chose to
interpret life situations and respond to
them.
18. Believing Lies=
Bondage
Believing Truth=
FREEDOM!
Then you will know the truth, and truth will make
you free. (John 8:32)
So if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed.
(john 8:36)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
19. Faith is Acceptance of God’s Fact
•
•
•
•
Faith always has its roots in the past.
Faith is to believe God has don it.
Faith is to believe you already have it.
Freedom from sin and addiction is a result of the finished work of
Jesus Christ.
IT IS FINISHED!!!
20. Freedom
•
•
•
•
•
Is part of the package.
It is your birthright as a child of God.
It is part of your inheritance.
You are dead to sin and freed from it.
You are dead to the law, under Grace and.
Complete In Jesus.
21. The Truth
• Freedom from all sin, including the bondage of
addiction is our birthright.
• Freedom is part of your inheritance as a child of
God.
Don’t settle for less!
22. Illustration of the Truth
The door to freedom is not locked. It was opened wide when Jesus
died on the Cross and we died with him.
For we know that our old self was crucified with
Him so the body of sin might be done away
with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin –
because anyone who has dies has been freed from
sin. (Romans 6:6,7)
23. We are in Christ.
Oh it is a great thing to see that we are in Christ. Think of the bewilderment of
trying to get into a room which you are already in. Think of the absurdity of
asking to be put in. If we recognize the fact that we are already in, we make no
effort to enter. (Whatchman Nee)
Do you realize the fact that you
are already in Jesus and are free?
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
24. Appropriating the Truth
The Lie That Binds
The Truth That Sets Free
• I will never be free.
• I am an addict and will always
be one.
• I need to achieve freedom.
• I am a product of my past.
• Christ Jesus has set me free.
• I am a child of God who
struggles with addiction.
• I need to receive freedom.
• I am a product of the cross.

to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
25. How Did the Addiction Begin
What Did it Do For You That Nothing Else Had Been Able to Do?
• Overcome self-consciousness.
•
•
•
•
•
Fit in with others, feel part of the group.
Feel better about self.
Medicate pain of failure and rejection.
Temporarily deal with stress and pressure.
Escape and deny your problems.
26. What Did the Addiction Do For You?
That Nothing Else Did?
• Addiction is not a bad habit,
• It meets a need tied in with your basic need
that only Jesus can meet.
• It links to how you find life and identity.
• That is why it is so hard to get free from,
• And why only Jesus can set you free.
27. The Lies We Believe That Lead to Addiction
• I am Insecure.
• I am Inadequate.
•
•
•
•
•
I am Inferior.
I am Guilty.
There is something wrong with me.

to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
28. If You Believe One of Those Lies
•
•
•
•
•
You will be in bondage.
For as long as you believe it.
No matter what you do or don’t do.
The root of addiction is what you believe,
About self, about who you are and who’s you are.
Freedom is Ours When We Believe the Truth
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
29. Everyone in Bondage Believes Lies About Who They Are
•
•
•

•
Something is wrong with me.
Devil accuses you day and night.
Flesh screams you’re a no good sinner.
World says you are an addict.
These lies keep you in bondage but,

to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are
bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18,19
30. The Ultimate Lie
• Is to believe that freedom from addiction is not possible.
• And God won’t or can’t set you free.
• Satan, the world and the flesh say you are an addict and worthless
in God’s sight.
• You must do what you can to cope or be set free.
• These are the lies that will keep you in bondage and most people
believe them.

• Salvation is Deliverance from Satan’s power.
• Salvation is Deliverance from the world.
• Salvation is Deliverance from our flesh.
• Salvation is Deliverance from fear and death.
• Salvation is Deliverance from the power of sin.
If we understand what happened at the cross, it will be the answer to all our
problems and our needs. Freedom, peace, joy and victory has been provided
through the finished work of Christ. IT IS FINISHED!

32. Christ Came to Deliver Us
From What Did He Deliver Us and To What did He Deliver Us ?
I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life
and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. (john 5:24)
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to
God, that you may declare the praises if Him who called you out of darkness into His
wonderful light. (1 peter 2:9)

33. Personalizing the Truth
Christ has done everything necessary to set me free.
There is nothing for me to do, but believe the facts { The Truth } of what Jesus
has done.
He has made me a new person and FREED me from the power of sin.
I am free whether I feel like it, act like it or look like it.
I am in Jesus Christ and He is in me and,
I am FREE!
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
