Dear Sponsor,
The tenth+1 annual North Texas Pride “Come As You Are” Festival will be held at the
ArtCentre of Plano & Haggard Park in historic downtown Plano on Saturday, June 12,
2021 from 11am - 7pm. COVID-19 put a damper on 2020 that resulted in cancellation of
the 10th anneversary celebration. NTPF is optimistic for 2021 & resuming the festival.
The North Texas Pride Festival is very family oriented and includes many children’s
activities in the expanded Kid Zone and during the festival, Guests of all ages will enjoy
music, live performances, giveaways, food/beverage, vendor and sponsor booths and
more. The entertainment will continue throughout the day with drink specials, music,
and dancing.
We hope you will consider partnering with us this year to further our mission statement.
Sponsorship can be in the form of a tax-deductible donation to the North Texas Pride
Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or, by participating in the event with a booth. Every
year the festival attendance has increased. This year we are projecting over 3,000+
attendees. The festival and its sponsors will be promoted through a comprehensive
marketing plan expected to reach over 250,000 people through print, online media,
e-commerce, TV, PSA and word-of-mouth, using social media.
In addition to donating funds to support our mission statement and long-term vision
of a permanent home for other LGBTQ organizations, the Board of Directors will again
select a local organization as a beneficiary and donate a portion of the festival proceeds
to that organization. These non-profit beneficiaries benefit the local and LGBTQ
community in some way. Past beneficiaries have included domestic violence shelters,
health & food services, and a children’s shelter, serving at-risk youth due to abuse,
neglect, or homelessness.
There has been a period of celebration for LGBTQ rights in past years, but our struggle
is not over. Although the LGBTQ community is increasingly able to live openly and
integrated in the North Texas suburbs,… there are many misinformed and determined
people who would go to great lengths to repeal, legislate, or destroy our recent strides
towards attaining a community that values diversity, acceptance, and equality for
everyone. With your support, the North Texas Pride Foundation can bring like-minded
groups together to expand the reach of the North Texas LGBTQ community, cultivate a
safe environment for LGBTQ families, couples, and individuals to congregate and ensure
continued community integration in suburban North Texas through a celebration of gay
pride with straight allies.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at info@northtexaspride.com
or, send us a message via the website, NorthTexasPride.com. You can also follow us
on facebook for event updates https://www.facebook.com/NorthTexasPride/ We look
forward to hearing from you and having you join us at the festival!
Sincerely,
Morris Garcia, President
North Texas Pride Foundation

Case for Support
There has been much to celebrate as marriage
equality has become a reality but our struggle is
not over. The LGBTQ community is increasingly
able to live openly and integrated in the NorthTexas
suburbs, which has impacted hearts and minds
unlike ever before. Unfortunately, there are many
misinformed and determined organizations and
leglislators who would go to great lengths to repeal
or destroy our recent strides towards attaining a
community that values diversity, acceptance, and
equality for everyone. With your support, the North
Texas Pride Foundation can help bring likeminded
people and groups together to expand the
connection of the North Texas LGBTQ community.
Our mission is to cultivate a safe environment for
LGBTQ families, couples and individuals to gather
and facilitate continued community integration in
suburban North Texas through a celebration of gay
pride with our straight allies and neighbors.
