The document describes the evolution of the CCHILL Out project, which uses an evidence-based collection management (EBCM) model to enhance inter-library loans and collection development decisions for libraries in the Northern Sydney Central Coast Health region. The innovative model analyzes inter-library loan data over 12 months to identify titles that are unexpectedly requested multiple times but not held in local collections. These titles are then urgently acquired and added to collections. After 12 months of tracking statistical data, the model is expected to become a core function of the libraries to systematically meet clients' information needs.
