Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Andrea Accatino, and I am a Designer.
I have been a Graphic Designer for over two years.
During the course of studies (I graduated in Industrial Design and Graphic Design at the Politecnico di Torino in December 2015), I worked as Digital Art Director and graphic designer for Reopla LTD. In this period I was involved in the production of all the stuff that is required for communication through both print and web marketing campaigns.
Since September 2016 I work as Graphic Designer with Eurofiere LTD, a company that deals with the design and construction of exhibition stands. I have therefore been able to observe and learn all the process of design and put into print in large format graphic. In particular, I have dealt with the creation of graphics, of all control parameters for commissioning the press and I followed directly printing process printers.
Now that I have gained experience as a graphic designer, I would like to expand the skills in the activity that most interest me and pushed me to undertake this course of study.
The security of a position with a firm of your success and stability would not only be in my best practical interest, but also serve my desire to concentrate more on my first love, the actual job of industrial design.
As you can see from my portfolio, I worked on projects that required an advanced design concept of skills, industrial design and knowledge of the world of industrial production, as well as a thorough knowledge of all the software tools necessary for a fair presentation of the projects.

Technological advances have allowed, in the last few years, a big step forward in the dynamic behaviors and interactions patterns that we used to do on the web, in the past. Starting from understanding the rules of motion design and how people interact with it during the processes of interaction we'll discover through practical insights and examples what is "under the hood" and how to prototype and develop all this design patterns with a more integrated and efficient design to code workflow.

Agile architecture - for Sveriges Arkitekter #arkfrukostFröjd Interactive
This presentation was made for Sveriges Arkitekter and their breakfast seminar #arkfrukost in April 2015. The topic was about exploring the differences and similarities between being a digital agency and/or digital start-up and being an architect and see if we together could find more agile ways to approach architecture.

Capturing Reality in Motion: Qualities of Presence in MoCap by Kent ByeKent Bye
Taking a look at immersive stories that have used motion tracking over the past 6 years, and categorizing them in terms of quality of presence that motion capture represents
Animation can explain behaviours better than thousand of words that’s why interaction designer should learn from motion designer.
Technological advances have allowed, in the last few years, a big step forward in the dynamic behaviors and interactions patterns that we used to do with software in the past. Motion is one of the key element of this change but how can we imagine & sketch the way something feels & reacts? Starting from the basic of motion design, we’ll discover a set of “standard” motion patterns and how we can sketch & use them in a design project to increase affordance, to simplify complex interactions and to give a new dynamic brand identity to our products.

Set design has a long and rich history, functioning as a key part of any show or performance, enhancing it and bringing it to life. Also known as scenic design, stage design or theatre design, this is the process of designing the environment for the action and the actors, taking into account the script and the scene. please visit: https://www.scottfleary.com/blog/the-past-present-and-the-future-of-set-design

3. Why unfolding time?
Today fashion can be thought as a moving 3D sculpture. We drew
our inspiration from designers such as Alexander Mcqueen to
create our 3D interactive wall showcases the past 5 years of
the fashion show. The stitched tessellation allude to traditional
sewing while the technology used to make these structures
represents the present.
4. Why unfolding time?
In addition our goal is to juxtapose both the present and past
history of the fashion show together in one cohesive piece. We use
twitter live feed to illustrate the making of history. When the user
walks up to the piece, he or she can begin to unravel the past
history of the CCA fashion show from 2008 to 2012.
6. How it works?
We use Processing to create
projection mapping on the
structure. Kinect captures
user’s movement to control
and navigate through the
information on the structure.
