Catalyst Schools helps students after graduation by having faculty form mentoring relationships with students that continue beyond high school. The goal is to provide students with various options as they approach the end of their high school career, including options beyond traditional post-secondary education. Faculty work to find the best fit for each student given their interests and skills, as some students may pursue college while others enter law enforcement, the military, or job training programs.

Introduction
 Catalyst Schools serves students in the Chicago area at two different campuses:
Catalyst Maria, which is for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, and
Catalyst Circle Rock, which is for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Once students graduate, Catalyst Schools also has mechanisms in place to help
them take the next steps in their lives.
The school accomplishes this mission by charging dedicated faculty with the mission
of forming mentoring relationships with students that last beyond graduation. The
goal is to provide students with a bevy of options to choose from as they approach
the end of their high school careers—many of which extend beyond the traditional
route of post-secondary education. The goal is to find the best possible fit for each
student given their interests and specific skill sets.
College is a reality for many Catalyst students, but others may want to go into law
enforcement or emergency services. Some may want to pursue military options or
other paths to self-sufficiency through Chicago’s Urban Alliance program. To learn
