INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES
I am an extremely dedicated, focused and tenacious individual. I am currently participating in
pro bono work as an ‘appropriate adult’ with Hafal in conjunction with south Wales police. I
am about to commence pro bono work as a ‘McKenzie friend’ in Cardiff, supporting those
who are seeking advice in relation to family law, law in relation to children and domestic
violence which I am thoroughly looking forward to. I enjoy keeping up to date by attending
several South London Law Society AGM’s, such as a talk given by Alastair Logan (Solicitor
for the Guildford four) on the miscarriages of Justice. On the 30th of September 2011, I
attended the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom to observe a Mock Trial on Ecocide
should the crime be adopted. Michael Mansfield QC, the prosecuting barrister, and Nigel
Lickley QC, the defence barrister played out the fictitious trial against two fictitious CEO’s to
raise awareness on the ever growing issues surrounding Ecocide which I found thoroughly
inspiring. Occasionally, I pursue my love for swimming and art work and attempt to express
my creative abilities through drawing and sculpture. I have recently joined a running club and
I successfully completed the Cardiff half marathon to raise money for a children’s charity
called Bliss.
