15. "Working with the Herbert Art Gallery has provided the students with the unique opportunity to engage with creative and media professionals on a regular basis within the workplace. For year 9 students this has proved an invaluable experience." Matthew Connor-Hemming Head of Drama, Blue Coats School & Arts College, Coventry.
20. "The Herbert has been an amazing resource when working one to one or with groups of some of the most disengaged young people in Coventry. Herbert Media has helped me devise workshop ideas and lesson plans, and using creative media to develop soft skills in the context of local history galleries enhances young people’s perception and understanding of their city.” Marianne Caine Key Skills Tutor

31. “I first came to the Herbert two years ago as part of a Rap Academy workshop, which was brilliant as I got to make beats for my lyrics and record them in a proper studio for the first time. I then did ten days training here, funded through CSWP that got me a qualification, and Herbert Media encouraged me to use that to get on a one year music production course at the local college; they even phoned up the course tutor, who they knew, to put in a good word. I haven’t had my results yet but my tutor reckons I’ll get a merit, which will give me five GCEs. I’ve been coming back to the Herbert every week during my course as a volunteer for work experience, helping out with producing music and technical support, and I now feel like part of the team.” Craig Jones; aged 18.
32. …and our work has been recognised both regionally & nationally. The Herbert Media Team was voted Coventry and Warwickshire's most Innovative Business at the 2009 Godiva Awards.
