national city
park that lays
in front of it,
incorporatin
g a
succession of
green
BIG has combined cedar
wood and glass for 79 &
park’s façade, establishing a
strong connection with the
surrounding nature.
In addition to the private and
common balconies and terraces
that offer residents unrestricted
views, the project also includes
several areas at ground level that
are open to the general
public. the residential complex
has been developed as a
‘pixelated’ structure, whose
unevenly extruded units house

conclusion
• In this apartment the design is based on
the green building and a social housing
than an economic housing
• Where they focused on creating a
building based on the sun lighting or an
minimal consumption of artificial
lighting
• They also used a wood which gave a
good aesthetic look but lacked in the
aspects of fire safety
• Since the site is in the park they try to
bring in the concept of terrace
