Application Airtherm Engineering Limited has recently completed a flue installation,
working closely with the consultant and contractor at St Bernard’s Catholic
■ High Efficiency School, Birmingham. The flue system selected is that used ‘Masterflue’ by
Hamworthy Heating.
The flue system installed comprised of a 5m horizontal run and a 12m
vertical, incorporating the necessary drains to allow any unwanted condense
to evacuate the system.
The flue system was installed back in August 2012, which had an extremely
tight program of works in readiness for the imminent return of the pupils.
Working closely with both the consultant and the M&E contractor, the
project was completed on time and handed over to the School.
