Limited physical activity related to difficulty ambulating and unsteady gait. Medical history includes hypertension controlled with ACE inhibitors, hypercholesterolemia, status post appendectomy, and tibial fracture status postsurgical repair with no obvious signs of complications. Over the past 2 months, Mr. M. seems to be deteriorating quickly. Mr. M has become dependent with many ADLs, whereas a few months ago he was fully able to dress, bathe, and feed himself. A 16-year-old girl and her mother present to your office with concerns about irregular periods. The patient had her first menses at 12 years of age and had regular monthly periods until 6 months ago when her periods stopped. She has had an accompanying 50-pound weight loss over the past 6 months. When asked further about the weight loss, she reports that she has been working on more healthful eating, has cut all desserts and junk foods out of her diet, and eats a low-fat and low-carb diet. In addition she has started running 3 miles a day in order to “get healthy.” On physical exam her vital signs are temperature 36.4°C (97.5°F), heart rate 44 beats per minute, blood pressure 96/60 mm Hg, and respirations 16 breaths per minute. She appears thin, with sallow-looking skin and dry hair. She is bradycardic on exam, with no murmurs and a regular rhythm. Her heart rate increases by 19 beats during positional changes from sitting to standing, with minimal change in her blood pressure. Her pulses are strong and symmetric while her fingers and toes are cool to touch. Anorexia nervosa. Eating disorders are a common but often underdiagnosed condition in the pediatric population.

for TBI patients, and I immediately thought of Mr. Nowak. At his last biannual cholesterol screening he mentioned having trouble with his balance. This
may be related to his hypertension, but he believes it's related to the time he was hospitalized many years ago after falling out of a tree, and
expressed distress that this might be the beginning of a rapid decline.

My father came home from Vietnam with a kaleidoscope of mental health problems. That was the 1970s, when treatment options for things like PTSD,
TBI, and even depression were very different. Since then there has been a lot of investment in treatment and recovery for combat veterans. That's
excellent news for veterans in treatment now, but they're not looking at my dad, and how his TBI and PTSD have affected him through mid–life and
now as a senior. That's why I started Safe Headspace: to focus on older patients who are years or decades past their trauma, and find ways to help
them.
Which treatments showed the strongest improvement?
Exercise. We were able to persuade about half of our participants — that's around 400 people, mostly men ages 45–80 — to follow the CDC's
recommendations for moderate aerobic exercise. Almost everyone showed improvement in mood, memory, and muscle control after four weeks. After

This research aims to answer to better understand the decision-making process of eating a heart healthy diet and extent of physical activity. Also, are these decisions influenced by whether the subject lives in a rural or urban setting. The research proposal was the cultural issues effected participants decision making as well as place of residence. This research used a previous qualitative research design in which 42 cardiac patients (21 urban, and 21 rural) were interviewed about their diet and physical activity. The researchers then designed a model for interviewing regarding the decision-making process. My father came home from Vietnam with a kaleidoscope of mental health problems. That was the 1970s, when treatment options for things like PTSD,
TBI, and even depression were very different. Since then there has been a lot of investment in treatment and recovery for combat veterans. That's
excellent news for veterans in treatment now, but they're not looking at my dad, and how his TBI and PTSD have affected him through mid–life and
now as a senior. That's why I started Safe Headspace: to focus on older patients who are years or decades past their trauma, and find ways to help
them.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
