security technology companies. They
specialize in delivering proactive and proven
solutions and services that help secure
systems and networks around the world.
Client’s suite of products protects consumers
and businesses of all sizes from the latest
malware and emerging online threats.
Product:
Statistical data over past 12 years has shown
that worldwide, every year financial losses of
around 10 billion US dollars are incurred as a
result of malware attacks. To tackle these
advanced threats, client has developed a
product (Anti malware toolkit - AMT) that
enables next generation of hardware-assisted
endpoint security, enabled by a proprietary
technology, operating beyond the operating
system, designed to detect, block and
remediate advanced, hidden attacks. This
product (AMT) is reinventing the industry
approach to security and is the first product
built on the most advanced technology co-
developed with world’s leader in silicon
innovation.
Product (AMT) has been developed eyeing a
B2B model. Large enterprises would be the
end consumers of this product. A product
management console (PMC) would be
essential for deployment and customization of
the product. A sophisticated and robust
organization security structure can be defined
and maintained by adopting complete
security suite offered by our client.
Business Needs:
Functionality of the product (AMT) has
extensive dependency on the hardware.
System processor and support for
virtualization play a crucial role in product
installation. Silicon industry rolls out
innumerable processors in a very short span
of time with mindboggling variations. Market
needs are met by multiple OEMs like HP, Dell,
Lenovo, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba and many
more. These OEMs have multiple hardware
vendors supplying components having varying
architecture. Client has to ensure that
product should install and function on all of
this hardware and ensure seamless enterprise
wide protection.

by Enterprises was periodically
gathered and meticulously analyzed.
Hardware Procurement:
a) iFocus Systec procured various
hardware launched by OEMs (Lenovo,
Sony, HP, Dell, Acer, etc) from the
market through its global vendors.
Technical:
 Engineering infrastructure, which can
simulate large enterprise setups. Thus,
create a real time field environment for
testing.
 A lab housing dozens of unique hardware.
 A stable and reliable ‘Recovery’
mechanism to ensure clean environment
is available for testing on every product
drop.
 Risk based testing is applied on every drop
to uncover critical defects at the earliest.
 Techno-centric knowledge management
to equip resources to carry out advanced
level tests.
 Out of box and exploratory testing with

Results:
 Several hundred H/W specific defects
were identified and reported.

long term engagement and then to a
