Five students conducted a study on career transitions by interviewing 17 people aged 30-45 from different sectors. They found that people most commonly change careers due to lack of job satisfaction, seeking better social status or opportunities, higher salary, or pursuing dreams. Some challenges of transitioning included communication barriers, competition, financial problems, and emotional reactions. The students' presentation addressed maintaining self-esteem, self-determination, job satisfaction, and applying organizational behavior theories during career transitions. In conclusion, they advised that hard work, knowing how to face challenges, chasing dreams, and grabbing opportunities are keys to successful career transitions.
