Erica discusses three potential career clusters: elementary school teacher, musician, and chemist. For elementary school teacher, the key responsibilities are teaching basic skills to young children, meeting with parents, and dealing with behavioral issues. For musician, the main tasks are playing an instrument for recordings or live audiences, practicing extensively, and maintaining instruments. For chemist, the primary duties involve analyzing compounds to determine their identity, conducting tests using tools like mass spectrometers, and collaborating with other scientists. Erica expresses interest in all three careers due to her experiences and enjoyment of education, music, and chemistry.

5 key differences between Hard skill and Soft skillsRuchiRathor2
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝:
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 & 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 💯
In today's dynamic and competitive market, a well-rounded skillset is no longer a luxury - it's a necessity.
While technical expertise (hard skills) is crucial for getting your foot in the door, it's the combination of hard and soft skills that propels you towards long-term success and career advancement. ✨
Think of it like this: Imagine a highly skilled carpenter with a masterful understanding of woodworking (hard skills). But if they struggle to communicate effectively with clients, collaborate with builders, or adapt to project changes (soft skills), their true potential remains untapped. 😐
The synergy between hard and soft skills is what creates true value in the workplace. Strong communication allows you to clearly articulate your technical expertise, while problem-solving skills help you navigate complex challenges alongside your team. 💫
By actively developing both sets of skills, you position yourself as a well-rounded professional who can not only perform tasks efficiently but also contribute meaningfully to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

2. In my life I hope to go to college, live on Long Island, continue
to play polo, ride horses, play as many instruments as I do, and
have a family. I hope to make it to DE CA Nationals before I
graduate and have had some good job experiences. I have a few
jobs that would fulfill my dreams but one of them sticks out
more than the others and I hope to take steps towards making
these dreams come to life.
3. Some of my wor k val ues ar e havi ng a safe envi r onment to

5. This was one of the first careers that I have ever considered, and it
seems to have stuck with me. I think that this is a good career for
me because I have always loved teaching. I can easily stand in front
of an audience and speak, and convey my thoughts out loud. It
matches my Holland code because teachers have to be social with
other people and their students, they have to solve problems such as
children that misbehave and they also have to understand business
aspects in order to teach students the same type of things. I have
always loved teaching and I participate in teaching programs such
as High School Heroes and Teacher Swap every year.

10. T he second car eer I have chosen i s a talent manager . T al ent
