- 2. Education – Elementary School Teacher A teacher’s basic job is to teach young children the basic social and academic skills needed for the work world. They also meet with parents to report how their children have been doing in class and otherwise. Teachers must also deal with behavioral problems such as misbehaving or family problems in which a school psychologist can talk about. My reaction to this job is that I like it a lot. I have wanted to be a teacher almost my whole life and have always admired them, so I think that this would be a good job for me to have.
- 3. Arts- Musician, Instrumental A musician must play their instrument for either a recording or a live audience. They may play alone or with a small or large group of other musicians. They have to practice a lot and make sure that their parts are being played to the best of their ability. They must also transpose music to the right key sometimes and make sure that their instruments are kept well in tune and in good condition. I like this job a lot because I have loved music all my life and I currently play 6 instruments so this could be a good job for me to pursue.
- 4. Science- Chemist A chemist must analyze and organize organic or inorganic compounds to determine what they are. They also conduct control tests and may use a mass spectrometer to determine what a substance is. Confer with other scientists to develop new methods of chemical compound determination. I think that this is a really cool job because I have always enjoyed chemistry and think that this would be a good job for me.
