2. Car Bumper 2
INTRODUCTION
• Nowadays people face problem against traffic and human habit to
drive vehicle very roughly and that is the reason of accidents. This
bumper provide safety against accident. This bumper consist
pneumatic cylinder with control valve while accident occurs
pneumatic valve open bumper and then bumper strike first not car
body.
3. PRIMARY GOALS
• Life safety
• Avoid accidents
ABSTRACT
A Pneumatic car bumper which
provides safety against accident. This
bumper uses compress air to produce
force against accident. This bumper
consist solenoid valve which
provides automatic feature for
bumper.

PISTON CYLINDER
Air contained horizontal piston cylinder assembly.
Due to an air piston reciprocates in cylinder.
Threaded piston rod is connected to piston.
Due to outer casing air leakage can restricted.

SOLENOID VALVE
• A solenoid valve is an electromechanical valve for use with
liquid or gas. The valve is controlled by an electric through a
solenoid coil.
• Solenoid valve may have two or more ports: in the case of a
two -port valve the flow is switched on or off; in the case of a
three-port Valve, the outflow is switched between the two
outlet ports.

CYLINDER ALUMINIUM
BODY ROUND
• The round-body disposable style of pneumatic cylinder is the
workhorse of most pneumatic system. NITRA A- series are
dimensionally interchangeable with other leading
manufacturers, and are perfect for replacement applications
as well as new designs.

5/2 SOLENOID VALVE PNEUMATIC
• The 5/2- way pneumatic valve has five connection ports and
two states. It has one pressure port, two ports and that
connect to the device that needs to be controlled, and two
exhaust ports and pressure port connect to port, while port
vents through exhaust port.
14. 14
PRESSURE REGULATION VALVE
• The primary purpose of pressure regulators is to control
pressure with close tolerance to ensure that compressed air
in a pneumatic system is not wasted. Pressure regulating
valves accomplish this by maintaining constant output
pressure under various input pressure and output flows.
16. 16
AIR RECEIVER TANK
• An air receiver, sometimes referred to as a compressed air
tank, is an integral part of any compressed air system. The
main purpose of the is to act as temporary storage to
accommodate the peaks of demand from your system and to
optimize the running efficiency of your.

ULRAVIOLET SONAR SENSOR
• UV SENSOR measure the power or intensity of incident
ultraviolet (UV) radiation has shorter wavelengths than
visible radiation, but is still longer than x- rays. UV
SENSORE are used for determining exposure to ultraviolet
radiation in laboratory or environmental setting.
19. 19
RELAY
• One of the main elements of
pneumatic automatic control; a
control element in which the
sensing member is a diaphragm
(usually elastic) , and the
mechapneumatic converter of the
mechanical displacement into a
change in pressure of air or a gas is
a nozzle and baffle.

WORKING
While accident occurs due to sensor bumper suddenly will
open and then bumper strike first. Due to solenoid valve
bumper hold at it position not goes back and due to
compress air or gasses bumper exshaust vibration and
force.

CONCLUSION
From this project we
can conclude that how
can we design and
manufacture safety
component of car
body with low cost,
low weight and higher
strength.
