2. REFERENCE
“Now there was a famine in the
land-besides the previous
famine in Abraham’s time-and
Isaac went to Abimelek King of
the Philistines in Gerar.”
3. REFERENCE
“The Lord appeared to Isaac
and said, “Do not go down to
Egypt; live in the land where I
tell you to live.”
4. REFERENCE
“Stay in this land for a while, and I
will be with you and will bless you.
For to you and your descendants I
will give all these lands and will
confirm the oath I swore to your
father Abraham.”
6. WHAT IS AN OPPORTUNITY?
Chance for advancement,
progress or profit. A favourable
circumstance or occasion.
7. THE OPPORTUNITIES
1. Eternal economy and political
government: “For to us a child is
born, to us a Son is given and the
government shall be upon His
shoulder, and His name shall be
called
8. Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty
God, Everlasting Father [of
eternity], Prince of Peace.” Isa.9:6
(AMP). We live in an economy that
is not subject to financial melt
downs or crunches. It is not subject
to the economy where you are
naturally located.
9. THE OPPORTUNITIES
2. The blessing: “But God said to
him, “Do not be so distressed about
the boy and your slave woman. Listen
to whatever Sarah tells you, because
it is through Isaac that your offspring
will be reckoned.” Gen.21:12 (NIV)
10. this is not material nor financial
in concept or origin. It the force
that orchestrates destiny and
generates financial and material
equivalents; not subject to a
man’s profession, location,
position etc.
11. THE OPPORTUNITIES
3. The Holy Spirit: “However, I
am telling you nothing but the truth
when I say it is profitable (good,
expedient, advantageous) for you
that I go away. Because if I do not
12. go away, the comforter
(Counsellor, Helper, Advocate,
Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby)
will not come to you [into close
fellowship with you]; but if I go
away, I will send Him to you [to be
in close fellowship with you]. John
16:7 (AMP).
13. THE OPPORTUNITIES
4. Your predestination: “Before I
formed you in the womb I knew
[and] approved of you [as my
chosen instrument], and before you
were born I separated and set you
apart, consecrating you;
14. [and] I appointed you as a prophet
to the nations.” Jer.1:5 (AMP).
This is an indication that you are
not a coincidence on the earth. You
do not exist to be a part of the
population statistics nor the
prerogative of your parents. You
are born to fulfil purpose.
15. THE OPPORTUNITIES
5. The power/Authority: “Behold!
I have given you authority and
power to trample upon serpents and
scorpions, and [physical and mental
strength and ability] over
16. all the power that the enemy
[possesses]; and nothing shall in
any way harm you.” Luke 10:19
(AMP). This depicts that you are
unstoppable and undefeatable the
devil and all kinds of manipulations,
divinations, situations and
circumstances created by him.
17. THE OPPORTUNITIES
6. The nature: “What is born of
[from] the flesh is flesh [of the
physical is physical]; and what
is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
18. Nature places limits on the
capacity of a thing or animal;
including man. Little wonder
why a Lizard cannot do what
the Elephant could do. Just
Imagine what God can do; that
is your capacity!
