The University of Bohol was established in 1946 as Rafael Palma College and became a university in 1970. Its vision is to enable students to live worthy, fulfilling, and abundant lives through holistic education focused on scholarship, character, and service. The university aims to develop self-reliant students with relevant skills and knowledge who are committed to serving God, country, and community. It has a long history of "firsts" on Bohol as the pioneering institution of higher learning and has consistently produced top-performing graduates.
