1. Employees shine as CAMP
comes to close
12 June 2015
Last Friday as the inaugural CAMP Summit came to
a close, two Westpac employees were showcased
for their contribution and innovation during the
week.
Annie Shu from our Group Innovation team was part
of the Intersective Play Think Tank, which was
awarded first runner up and People's Choice for their
innovation Unxiety, an interactive app designed to
treat anxiety.
Speaking about the week, Annie said: "CAMP 2015
has been such an amazing experience that allowed each one of us to learn from industry experts, inspirational
founders as well as connecting with so many talented delegates across the two countries. I am
passionate about building the bridge between China and Australia, there are indeed many wonderful
opportunities for us to experience in this exciting Asian Century."
"Our team is passionate about Unxiety, and the potential it has to increase the awareness and treatment of
anxiety in both China and Australia. We hope to use game therapy to create an online stress ball that
motivates behavioural change and transforms the user from a reactive to proactive state of mind," she said.

Most helpful CAMPer
Another star of the evening, self-funded Westpac delegate Thomas Tang from Bank of Melbourne was
awarded the AMP Most Helpful CAMPer Award, for his contribution during the Summit. The award was peer-
voted by the other delegates and industry leads who were asked to nominate the delegate who played a
connector role, bringing the 130 delegates together in a collaborative way.
Speaking about his award, Thomas said: "CAMP was a life changing experience and has given me the
opportunity to grow my leadership skills and enhance my cross-cultural communication, make new like-
minded friends globally and gain unique insight into how we can solve problems common to both China and
Australia."
Future Leaders Award
As CAMP's platinum sponsor, Westpac awarded the Future Leaders Prize, which celebrates the exceptional
caliber of the CAMP delegates, to Ruby Jiang, a delegate in the China Australia Free Trade Agreement Think
Tank.
Ruby was awarded an AUD $5,000 contribution which can be used for professional development, training or
coaching from The Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership.
21 Westpac employees participated in the CAMP summit as either delegates or industry leads, with the
delegates coming together from Singapore, HK, Shanghai, Beijing, WIB, WRBB, Bank of Melbourne, Westpac
technology and BT. See our Westpac participants.
